I once wanted a Rohrbaugh, but even though they cost $1000 they have had their share of problems
With the right ammo (they are very picky) and with plenty of lubrication, mine has worked flawlessly. However, I do not like all of the care that it needs and therefore only carry it when I need really deep concealment. The rest of the time it's my Colt Pocket Nine and the Kel-Tec PF9 when the gun might get exposed to the elements -- with the stainless slide and plastic frame, it can stand up to the elements better than the more expensive stuff and if it does get ruined, less of an investment is lost.

PS: Editted to add ... we're talking only about pocket carry. Most of the time it's something larger in a holster or belly band and J-frames around the house.

I thought KelTec was crap. My buddy bought one of their 9mm and my suspicions were confirmed. He stuck with it and after a trip back to the factory and a lot of work it now shoots just fine.

He bought the 32 version and it's never let him down at the range. I think I might even grab one.

Many Ket-Tecs will have problems straight out of the box. Most of these problems will be fixed by the factory. Some will not. My P-3AT was a piece of junk. My PF9 works fine.

NAA 380 Guardian. Got a new one last week. Great pistol, but heavier than some others.
