BHP wide trigger upgrade?

I’m thinking of getting a wide trigger for my early 70s vintage BHP.

The candidates are:

Both options offer a wider than stock trigger. The Apex trigger is a flat profile, while the cylinder & slide trigger is a more traditional curved shape.

Has anyone used either? Opinions welcome.

I've used the C&S a couple times. The Apex High Power stuff is new to the market, but their other stuff that I've used is very good. Blackhawk Nighthawk bought the rights to Jim Garthwaite's High Power components and has offered their trigger for a short while. Folks were pretty high on that part. There's a comparison/review somewhere. I'll try to find it.

Do you mean Nighthawk? I could not find it on their site, though I remember seeing a pic of one of their custom BHP builds with a straight trigger a while back.

I ordered the Apex wide flat trigger. Machined from billet steel & heat treated, DLC coated. It should be high quality. The C&S trigger is fine I’m sure, but the quality has been hit or miss according to reviews at Brownells.
