Bianchi - no pouch for speed strips???

How is it that Bianchi puts its name on Speed-Strips, but doesn't bother to offer any pouches for carrying ammo on Speed-Strips?

I find the loaded strips fit perfectly in the change pocket of jeans...........straight up and down. Pretty handy.

The jeans suggestion is a good one.

simplyrugged.com makes a pouch, and Dillon has one in stock from time-to-time.

I just am baffled that Bianchi doesn't make the logical companion product for something as popular as the Speed-Strip.

you have to remember that the speed strip was originally designed for LE as an improvement over loading from "dump pouches", which were themselves an improvement over loading from "loops"...my department still issued loops for our S&W M-15 when i started in 1979. the advent of the speedloader was the final nail in the coffin of the speed strip in LE.

when LE moved away from the dump pouches and speed strips...they used the same pouches...it became economically inefficient to continue their production in a large manufacturers LE duty line. it is a limited market as most folks carry them in either a pants or jacket pocket

I've been using a vertical cell phone case to hold two Speed Strips. It works well because I can pull them out one at a time, and it doesn't scream 'spare ammunition' if someone sees it on my belt.

The Simply Rugged pouch works great. I put it on my belt in front of the revolver for access to 10 extra rounds.

I've used the cell phone pouch idea, but like this better. Three Strips fit into the small, Blackberry A.G. Russell small zipper belt pouch, tabs up, without looking like an ammo pouch. Fits very flat against the body, grab the center strip first, then the others won't drag against the zipper if you need another.

I carried loops for a time, as an armored car jockey. (20 years ago) The looks I got from people ! The manager of a video store asked my partner, "Why does he have all those bullets" ?
His response ? "Hes not the mail man ! He takes your money to the bank".... To make it funnier, no more than any two rounds were the same. At some point I bought two Safariland Comp 2 loaders and a carrier for them....That was the end of my loops. We also carried speed strips in dump pouches in those days.
