Black Friday 2023

I was doing so well, until I wasn't, I was so bad, bought a scope.
Couldn't pass up the Timney 3 lb adjustable single stage trigger for $85 (Now sold out) ... Besides, it's for a good cause of 0.1 gr incremental loading at the range for 62/69/75 gr .223 load development ... Yup, that's the story I am sticking to. 😆

Also couldn't pass up components for my next three AR builds ... That's right, I have to remember to tell my wife when boxes arrive that these are just "spare parts" ...

I came real close, but don’t need one, and I’ve been bad enough
Just think of it as "early" retirement presents ... You sure "earned" them!!! :)

Danger for me is I now have "unlimited" shooting/reloading budget and whatever catches my eyes, I can just get without thinking twice (Like, life is short and we all die and stuff kicks in and all bets are off) ... but things can get out of hand quite quick ... Like in thousands of dollars quick ... - https://www.thehighroad.org/index.p...-unlimited-budget.912629/page-3#post-12760055

I mean, I have even got to the point where when I see some real good deals/clearances, I go ... "Hmmmm, these would make really great 'Pay It Forward' (PIF) gifts" and I end up buying the entire shelf or shopping cart full ... Oh yes, they even had to get an extra cart for me to do "santa claus" thing to unsuspecting victims. 😇

And things will really get exciting when I can access my 401K funds ... Oh my (I already told my wife that whatever my 401K fund earns that month, we HAVE TO blow the entire gain, especially by PIF means and wife has been "practicing" ... Paying for unsuspecting diners, especially vets, watching anonymously from the parking lot and elderly grocery shoppers surprised by manager showing up to pay for their shopping ... makes my wife smile 😆)

So my Black Friday spending was focused on "at the range" reloading for portable 0.1 gr incremental powder work up of 62/69/75 gr .223 loads (Beta testing for Lee Precision came in real handy for Hand Press, Deluxe PPM stand and Deluxe APP primer pocket swager purchase) with Mr. Buddy Heater to stay toasty in the minivan for 50 yard 22LR/100 yard .223 accuracy testing/reloadng regardless rain or shine (I already got tri-fold 5" mattress/chair for comfy prone shooting for rainy days and table/round stool for sunny/foggy days).

Geissele 2 stage triggers for $88.
Some of them are 40% off until Monday, or however long they last. The SD-3's are out of stock but there are other super dynamics. The SSA's are $147 as opposed to $240. Also 30% off some uppers and complete rifles. I really wish I had the cash, I don't need another rifle but I'd be very happy to have a Geissele AR

I use the heck out of one of those tables.. great for game processing as it cranks up high enough to not have to bend over while cutting.

I just took advantage of the Scheels sale; H1000, H4350 and a whole lot of Nosler Accubonds and BTs. then I called a friend, and he called a friend etc. Finding H1000 has been a real PITA. Now we're all going to Scheels after work on Monday to pick up our H1000 :)

Couldn't pass up the Timney 3 lb adjustable single stage trigger for $85
I came real close, but don’t need one, and I’ve been bad enough
I got weak again and ordered the TriggerTech adjustable trigger - https://www.primaryarms.com/brand/t...Hot-Deals-on-Top-Selling-TriggerTech-Triggers

My "rationale" partly was now I can do a comparison of single vs two stage adjustable triggers and see if there's a difference shown on group size/pattern at 100 yards from 62/69/75 gr .223 0.1 gr incremental load development.

You know, "Life is short and we are all going to die" and "When will you Live Life if not now?" stuff justify everything ...:rofl: ... Works with my wife ... But she gets to spend double whatever I spend on my hobbies ... "Doh"😆

There were some pretty decent deals out there, a few that I was waiting for.
PSA had their Strike Eagle 1-8 SFP with mount on sale for $299, that seemed like a no brainer and I'd been looking for a decent LPVO

Found some Winchester LPP's for $65/1k, that's the best price I've seen in a long time.

If you want an HK VP9 for cheap

View attachment 1181674
Where is that advertised? No retailer is shown on your graphic.

Edited to add: Was this at RK Guns? If so, they're sold out of the green ones.

Further edit: Just to clarify, that "rebate" isn't a cash rebate, it's store credit from the H&K store. So you get $200 credit toward the purchase of overpriced stuff that you probably don't need or want.

Third edit: The H&K store is out of stock for all VP9 9mm magazines!
