I got a cheap Pietta "1851 Confederate Navy" .44 revolver that Cabelas has on sale now. Yeah, I know it's fragile and a "true fake" but it's pretty and will be fun. No doubt it'll lead to something better!

Lol, yeah me too, coal ! at least I can burn it ! but it's just not like black powder :p

The Pietta 1851 Confederate Navy is a good looking revolver, and Pietta makes decent guns. The .44 cal Remington New Army I bought has been a great shooter. Of course I did things to it like polishing the chambers and a little trigger work, I polished the hammer and every part that gets friction so that it functions smoothly. I think they're on sale for only 179.00 until tomorrow. I would have to look to know for sure though.Good luck with it !

Hey, I got 2 pair Wranglers, socks and underwear. Gotta have clothes to go shooting lol.

I really don't need anything, besides I ordered 2 1858's from Cabelas along with 2 spare cylinders, a holster, and 2 free starter kits. Christmas and my birthday all rolled into one.

There not in yet but I got a Cimarron/Uberti squareback 1851, a Spiller & Burr, and a unturned Signature Series 1862 Trapper to go with the accoutrements set I have, plus a Bill's Cases 1862 case for a 5.5 barrel Police or Navy (all mine have Bills Cases so I will need to buy another one)

They won't be under the tree but I should have most of it by new years

We won't open gifts until Saturday, first time all the family can be together. But I know I'm getting a new Chrony, since I'm the one that ordered it. I can use that for blackpowder. And, not BP related, but a Crimson Trace laser grip for my 1911 carry gun. Well, I have loaded some BP rounds for the 1911, so I suppose with a stretch of the imagination that does fit in this forum. An for some reason I got an e-mail that 100 pieces of cannon fuse had been shipped to me. Not 100% sure what that is about.

I got some good loot this year.

I got a Pietta 1851 Navy in .44. It's a nice looking gun, it's the Nickel/Gold from Cabelas. This is actually my first BP revolver, so I am sure I will be bothering you guys with tons of questions!

Hoping for a BP revolver that was on my Wish List. All I know is that something was supposed to be delivered two days ago and wasn't so I'm still waiting to see what she got me.

The Rodgers & Spencer revolver is a sweet gun. What a great Christmas present !

BowerR64 - Wow ,Santa Clause was good to you this year ! I think he has good taste in the black powder dept :D

I got mine a week early. a Navy Arms Pietta 12ga. SxS shotgun plus a .690 and 00 buckshot mould.
That's a beautiful 12 gauge bl. bbl shot gun ! I have two Bp shot guns I love shooting.Ones a 12 gauge and ones a .410 ! I also shoot BP out of my 12 gauge "Revelation" shot gun. I believe they were sold by Western Auto years ago. It's my favorite 12 gauge,it holds a nice tight group for long range. Santa was good to you ! :D
