The Pietta 1851 Confederate Navy is a good looking revolver, and Pietta makes decent guns. The .44 cal Remington New Army I bought has been a great shooter. Of course I did things to it like polishing the chambers and a little trigger work, I polished the hammer and every part that gets friction so that it functions smoothly. I think they're on sale for only 179.00 until tomorrow. I would have to look to know for sure though.Good luck with it !I got a cheap Pietta "1851 Confederate Navy" .44 revolver that Cabelas has on sale now. Yeah, I know it's fragile and a "true fake" but it's pretty and will be fun. No doubt it'll lead to something better!
I also got a new 1858 to add to my 1860 & 1851I got a 1858 Uberti!
Now that was really thoughtful of your son ! nice gift. Now you can go shooting with him.
That's a beautiful 12 gauge bl. bbl shot gun ! I have two Bp shot guns I love shooting.Ones a 12 gauge and ones a .410 ! I also shoot BP out of my 12 gauge "Revelation" shot gun. I believe they were sold by Western Auto years ago. It's my favorite 12 gauge,it holds a nice tight group for long range. Santa was good to you !I got mine a week early. a Navy Arms Pietta 12ga. SxS shotgun plus a .690 and 00 buckshot mould.
