According to Senator Ted Kennedy, Americans support amnesty for illegal aliens. "Hey Teddy, we are Americans, and we don't support anything you're doing. You are a disgrace. Make sure you count us out when you lie to everyone about the "broad support" your amnesty plan enjoys,"said the Border Patrol agents.
That's exactly what I've been saying for years.Border Patrol agents point out the illegal immigration problem is a simple issue to solve: Shut the border down to illegal aliens crossing into the US, then begin "hammering" the greedy employers who hire them.
"It's not complicated, folks," they stress.
Or maybe a War on Greed will be our next national crusade?
When your long term goal is a merger of sovereignty with Mexico, Canada and the countries of South and Central America, the last thing you want to do is let it be known that controlling the borders is a simple matter of enforcing the law. You want to create the impression that it is beyond anyone's control, therefore the only solution is a merger. The Free Trade Area of the Americas (FTAA) treaty is the first step in this process. They will not stop until they have made this the law of the land. Therefore, don't expect any solution to the border problem that does not actually make things worse.A simple and effective solution, TRH. So, why don't we implement this plan?

Why don't you look up the FTAA, and Bush's association with same, and then consider what's going on in Europe right now as we speak? Ever hear of the European Union? Thirty-five years ago, if you had suggested that European shakers and movers were planning to transform Europe into a shared-sovereignty super-state with open borders, shared currency and common passports, you know what they'd have called you? They'd have called you a conspiracy theorist. Yet, even thirty-five years ago, the evidence was all there for anyone to see.Another conspiracy theory ?
Watch out for the black helicopters now.
1. The plan that TRH as commented on.A simple and effective solution, TRH. So, why don't we implement this plan?
Or maybe a Freudian slip? Thanks Longeyes, though I wish you had corrected my spelling of borders before quoting me. I caught it myself only when I read your quote of my post. When I type quickly, I often fall victim to homonym-itis.
True.Or maybe a Freudian slip?
After they cross the borders, then they become (mostly nonpaying) boarders in the US.
Richard Haass was a Deputy Secretary for Plans in Bush's State Department until mid-2003. He then took a gig as President of the Council on Foreign Relations which is where he is now. The attached article appeared in the Taipei Times. It is a major foreign policy statement by a current insider who is explaining what is going on in the ruling elites circles. Read the article then take a gander at the title of the book he just wrote and now hawks.Lou629 said:Watch out for the black helicopters now.
