$60 and a few pennies a brick for SRP - standard - seems to be “The New Normal” in post-prosperity times. Keep the faith and take care. No matter what comes, it will be.

Our Sportsman’s Warehouse here in Northern California has had a bunch of CCI and Remington small pistol primers on their shelf lately. No large pistol yet. They say they never know when or if they will get them, but lately they have been getting smalls consistently.
Great Shop, with good prices!

The limit of two a day is not the stores policy, it is their corporate policy. It does keep primers on the shelves and not in one buyers bag. Not real sure how I feel about this, but at least they have them. I had my 16 year old grandson with me. One guy said he had to be 18 to buy primers, the other employee said he had to be 21. I’ve never heard of an age limit for primers or powder. Anybody know for sure in California?

I’m the same. That’s10 weeks of practice with an established load or developing a new load and 7 weeks of practice. I stretched a 30 round magazine to 4 weekly shooting sessions.
Yup, me too. I can make a box of .30-06 last a year or more.

At least around here Sportsman’s warehouse has maintained relatively good prices. I bought BR4 CCI SRP for $10/sleeve and both SRP and SPP for $5.50/sleeve. Only 2 at a time and only when they had them. Lately they’ve had them pretty reliably. They even had Federal AR GMM SRP for $6/sleeve.

With my local tax Sportsmans is $12.00 even for 200 primers :p.

Collected a full brick of CCI SP over the last week, now I'm working on a brick of SPM.

After that, I'll probably back off. My local isn't THAT far out of the way from my way home but it is out of the way. And I'll be glad to just have gotten 1k worth of each for $60 bucks. No need to be greedy.

My local Sportsmans (well, on my side of town) has been the dry one between the two that are near me, so it's nice to see stuff there. But it's only 2 sleeves per day, not 2 sleeves of each type. Oh well, a deal is a deal.
