I've been eyeing up a Boyds thumbhole stock for a bit now but I am having a bit of a problem. I have it narrowed down to three options.

Pepper, Nutmeg, or Jacaranda?

Any pics I can get will are greatly appreciated.

I'd go with Nutmeg. I have one in Forest Camo and I like it, but the only reason I didn't get Nutmeg is because the wife liked the forest camo one so much and told me I should get one when she saw the web page. I was so glad I didn't have to try to justify why I wanted one I just ordered it:)

Good luck with your Boyd Thumbhole.
I just fitted a friends Savage 110 to a Boyd stock and it took some stockfitting knowhow.
Job's done though and the rifle shoots fairly well.
A minor "tweak" or two is upcoming.

I have 3 boyd's stock 2 on savage rifles. a 22 bolt rifle , a stevens 200 and ruger custom. all dropped right in with the ruger bedded and block

+1 on the "drop right in" thing. I don't believe I've had to alter one yet. Plus that pepper laminate looks great.

My Savage FV-SR dropped right in as well. Love the nutmeg color as its not too radical. I still want to get a SS Revolution in Applejack for another Mark II but I don't think I'll get the ok from the wife.

Sorry about the iPad pic.

APPARENTLY, the "drop in gods" did not smile down on me as I really had to pull some tricks out of you know where!
Of course, I'm more than willing to share any info.
