Brady Bunch vs NRA : WAR CHEST

People leaning right typically give more than people leaning left. This isn't surprising at all.

Additionally, regarding a comment later on in the blog post about professions, the people at the bottom and top of the wealth spectrum typically give away a significantly larger portion of their income than do those in the middle.

You know the saying put your money where your mouth is. Apparently the antis in the world don't.

The majority of the money for the Brady Bunch comes from big groups/rich individuals like the Joyce Foundation & George Soros.

Guess antis don't vote with their wallets
But always remember that they DO vote.

Something tells me that the funding streams are being diverted into other more immediate causes - the folks willing to throw money into social engineering exercises haven't stopped wanting to do so.

That's something great to hear. If they don't get funding, they won't even have enough money to stay running. I hope that they do shut down.

Problem is their mouths are everywhere. The antis are usually completely liberal and want to see a total moral/social shift in America/the world. So who should they give money to? Planned Parenthood, Al Gore/Global Warming, Brady Bunch, PETA, etc., ad nauseum.

They're spread a mile wide but only an inch deep. No wonder they're confused.

One thing you guys do have to consider tho is how lefty fundraising is structured. A few guys who commented on that link made a very good comment about how rich liberals funnel money into politics and do it so that it's inconspicuous

They get their funding from the big liberally driven Foundations in the form of 6 and 7 figure checks. The Joyce Foundation, based in Chicago, is their single biggest supporter.

They are strictly a top down run, and funded, organization. Their grass roots level support is long gone. Until the Joyce board finds a new rat hole to pound money down, they will remain functional.

They do have cutbacks however. The entire Million Mom March is now one part-time person with a fax machine and an e-mail address. They had to very quietly lay off about 4 people from their PR group last year and they have looked into outsourcing their entire communications operations to reduce staff even further.

Yeah they are riding a swelling tide of outrage against guns. Guess antis don't vote with their wallets.

Neither do many so-called supporters of the Second Amendment. Most vote with their mouth. Many of them advocate not voting at all because of some real or imagined grievance.

I think it's a serious mistake to underestimate one's adversaries or to believe that a war is over when your opponents take a timeout for snacks.

The British 'Gun Control Network' consists 6 people, and I don't think that they are all full-time GCN employees either. Free publicity in the press though is guaranteed (they're experts surely; they know what's best) and cheap. Just as bad as the Brady Bunch though. At an 'open' conference recently on 'Gun Crime' someone from one of our pro-gun groups turned up to talk. The leader of the GCN recognised him, screamed 'he's a gun man, he's a gun man' in a crowded auditorium and had her goons escorting him out for 'causing a disturbance'. Added to that lies, illogic, half-truths and ad-homenim attacks, I think that statist groups are the same across the Western world.
