I found this little "bit 'o tripe". Funny how they are probably running out of places to beg for funds and how they only want accredited members of the media to attend. But this is home to the Joyce Foundation, their biggest (and pretty much only?) contributor and one of the last bastions of gun ban stupidity.

They must be concerned that a few of us might put on our tuxedos, stick a home made press pass in our pocket, and mingle with other guests to discuss how ... "... the entire Brady organization has really been faltering the last few years, hasn't it?".

For you non-Chicago folks, Dick Devine is leaving office about a half-step ahead of another investigation on crooked hiring in the department and blatant violations of the Federal Shakman decree that the City agreed to.

To put it bluntly, he ain't anybodys hero, except of course Brady, who chooses to honor a man that enforced gun laws they love and still have 32 Chicago school students shot dead in Gun Free Chicago since the 1st of the year. Never mind results, it's only his good intentions that count.

When will the folks at the Brady bunch just say, "We lost, we were wrong, the 2nd ammendment should be apart of America because that is what the Founding Fathers intended"?

When they stop getting checks from the Joyce foundation and their handful of elite contributors, would be my guess. To stevelyn's point, I wonder how many would do this on their own dime in their free time.

Never.

When will you stop fighting for your 2nd Amendment Constitutional rights?

It will never happen because the Brady faithful refuse to recognize that the founders intended for individuals to be able to own guns.

On Helmke's blog at Huffpo, we have repeatedly deluged these people with a ton of quotes from the founders, supporting the individual RKBA. They either ignore us, or tell us we are "misinterpreting" what the founders had to say on the subject, like it was written in legalese or something. It's almost comical.
