I like it off the cases quickly which means down the drain in a few gallons of water after a stainless tumbling media for a few hours and 200 cases or so.

Your method is creating more waste material though. Let's say 1000 rounds a month or 12,000 rounds a year. I have used a bag of corncob for well over 12,000 cases but that's a good number to start with.

At 200 cases per batch that would be 60 batches. 60 batches times 2 gallons of water means you have 120 gallons (over 1000lbs) of waste water vs 10lbs of media.
