New ones arnt hard to mess with. Id have to go back and look at my last thread on it but i think i had my 300s set at 1.5-1.75lbs. my 6.5CM i didn't change springs in or polish and that one went down to 3ish.They're excellent actions and have a fast lock time, much like Sakos. I don't know about the latest generation, but getting a factory trigger lightened was a chore.
If you need an older trigger to play with and tune up I have one for you.
6.5 Grendel 1500 mini action in a Boyds Prairie Hunter stock.
That is gorgeous, I thought long and hard about going with the Coyote color, I thought the forest camo was cool too, but I ended on Zombie green.
Yea, the magazine is pretty flimsy6.5 Grendel 1500 mini action in a Boyds Prairie Hunter stock.
It's pretty heavy but shoots amazing.
I've since replaced the ****ty Howa magazines with hinged floor plate and internal box mag.
Weatherby uses them in their Vanguard series but the Mark V and others are different.I had a Howa 1500 for a while. Was solid. Got rid of it a few years ago in a trade.
Howa actions are used by Weatherby in a lot of their guns.
I like the green.View attachment 1202782
Haven't had a chance to shoot it yet. But it all came together yesterday. I plum bobed the scope last night.
