Browning 1911 .22

Now that I have had mine a while and finally got enough mags for it, I say its worst problem is the trigger pull. Too heavy but before I get it worked over I want to run another 5 to 10 bricks through it and settle the gun.

It is a lot of fun to shoot and very rewarding if you practice the basics. It can be very accurate but it is not forgiving for variations in grip pressure and trigger basics.

I finally got my wife to go to the range after all these years, and she had a variety of pistols to choose from, including a full size 1911-22 (the Sig/GSG), and the Walther P22.

Guess which one she fell in love with.

The P22 is small enough for small hands, and the ergonomics are so good, that once you give them a choice, they'll never look back... unless they have a "thing" for 1911's. Oh yeah, she also loves the laser sight I have on it.

I know the Browning, unlike the Sig, is a reduced size 1911, but the weight and ergonomics are not as good as the P22, on the other hand, I'm sure most folks here will say it's probably more reliable, but I for one never had any problems with mine.
