Browning Auto 5 Saftey Help

I was hopeing that someone out there could tell me weather or not a old Browning Auto 5 saftey can be changed over to left handed or not?

I switched an ol Rem 11 cross bolt safety. It's been a while but as I recall it was simple, just put it in the other way and file a new detent notch.

Thanks. I did not know if there was any trick or not to it. I have changed many safties over but never a Auto 5

Really old Browning Auto Fives have the safety mounted on the bottom of the receiver, in front of the trigger.
Works well for a right or left hander.
