Browning BDA .380 Questions

I recently purchased a Browning BDA .380 at a pawnshop (with my employee discount!) but it seemed rather different than the ones i'm searching. For one, I know that the grip is an aftermarket, because BDA has authentic wood grips. This is more of a laminated flash wood finish. But my biggest concern is that I can't find a BDA pistol with gold trims. The screws holding the grip, the safety pin, the trigger, and a couple of small removable parts all seem to have been cover in a gold finish.


The serial number is MN which manufacted in 09 as i have found

But did browning ever release a nickle plated BDA with gold trims? Or was this rather a custom job? does it decrease the value of the gun if its?

I doubt it is from 2009, as Browning discontuned them in 2007.

Sounds like a custom "Bling" refinish job to me.
Yes, it will effect the value.
Probably a lot, unless it is very nicely done and somebody really likes it.

There was a limited edition with nickle finish made in 2006, but no gold plated parts.

They seem to be making new ones occasionally, and I have seen one with gold trim. I don't know anything about it though.
