Ok, so I bought this Browning Buckmark in a plastic baggie in pieces. I was told it was jamming and they didn't want to mess with it after they took it all apart. I took it to a local gunsmith and he said all the springs were wore out. He put it back together and now it is fine. The whole length of the barrel is flat. So did this come for scope only? Also theres a threaded hole on the bottom of the barrel? What would this be for? Thanks for the help. 20170827_183212.jpg 20170827_183220.jpg 20170827_183228.jpg 20170827_183240.jpg 20170827_183142.jpg

How long is the barrel, 10"?

The hole on the top would be where the front sight bolts on. The bottom hole is probably for a piece to go for your other hand to help support the extra length.

I love it when I get something like that for free that someone doesn't want to deal with, then get it running for minimal time and $.

Thanks guys, what is a GIS? I'll have to look at the barrel length when I get home.

Google "Browning Buckmark" then click on Images. Chances are you'll find a photo of the model that you have. I believe the he on the bottom of the barrel is for a forearm assembly for the Silouette model.
