I’ve been shooting shotguns for better than 50 years. I grew up on the Remington 1100 and the 870 Wingmaster. Over the past year I’ve acquired three high end Maxus shotguns. Two Golden Sporting Clays guns and a Maxus Ultimate. With the Remington 1100 for example I learned years ago that you never go anywhere without a spare gas piston assembly and a couple of O-Rings. I have really enjoyed the Maxus and intend to use them for clays and some upland bird hunting. So here is the question: Are there any parts on the Maxus that are notorious for breaking? Murphy’s Law works really well with guns...the farther away you are from home the greater the chance that something’s going to stop running. I just need to be ready!
