Hey everyone!

Ok so On Saturday I got to break in the barrel on my new Browning X bolt Hunter long range
6.5 PRC (whew that’s a mouthful) hence forth I shall refer to it as the hunter model anyways I am so excited to announce it shot great I am thrilled with how it shot the first handload through it was under 1/2” for 3 shots@ 100 yards plenty good enough to hunt with! It has a 1~7 twist which is fast for a .264! I LOVE the fit and feel of the rifle I think it was a well thought out design the Wood stock is solid without being clunky it has an adjustable check piece built in which I thought was really classy it has an older Luepold VX II 4-12x40 on it with brownings integral scope rings/bases as made by Talley the scope is as low as I can get it which is how I like it

I can’t recommend the Hunter model enough if your looking for a classic looking hunting rifle with modern features look no further!!!!!!

also I’ll have to get y’all some more photos later I’m at work now

I had an SLR as opposed to the HLR, and while it didnt fit with what i wanted to do, it was a really nice hunting rifle.
Sounds like the HLR is the same, but benefits from a classier stock!

Looking forward to pictures.

Remington could indeed make two holes in the center of a receiver. One receiver out of 100,that is.The other 99...well,not so much.Actually,I like the idea of 4 screws per base.I even wonder if something like a steel Picatinny rail attached like that would help stiffen the action.Couldn't hurt.
