Built for speed: new ETS 9mm SBR

I have a customer who currently works for Blackwater, deployed to an undisclosed foreign country. He asked ETS to build him a rifle, and here it is:

It is a suppressed, short-barreled 9mm AR. It consists of the following components:
DoubleStar Arms lower and upper recievers
TROS 5" 9mm barrel
VLTOR Carbine stock
PRi Carbon Fiber free-float handguard
PRi Gas Buster charging handle
PRi flip-up front sight
ARMS #40L BUIS
Hahn Precision bottom-loading mag-block

and:
an Elite Tactical Systems (ETS) 9mm suppressor

Total Cost: $2250 before tax stamps

I've got to talk to the owner about a few things, as I'd like to swap out the trigger guard for a MagPul enhanced trigger guard, and replace the A2 grip with a MagPul MIAD. We've also got to work out any optics that will be mounted.

We're also working out the details on building an 11.5" 5.56 upper, using Bushmaster's new Gas Piston Upper. That one will also be suppressed, most likely with an AAC M4-2000.

Being with Blackwater, is this going to be a "business expense"?

OEF_VET, pardon my ignorance. What kind of mags does that puppy use, and is it select fire?

grimjaw, it's semi-auto only, although it could be put onto a select-fire lower. It uses standard Colt 9mm AR mags.

Wow. When/if I get to the States you can put me down for one.

I expect $2250 is considered a lot over there, but over here it's about what you pay for a regular AR.
