Burris Fastfire 3 Adjustment

I put a FF3 on a S&W 325 to do competition with, and am having a little trouble with the height adjustment. I've got it set as low as it will go, and it's still about 3" high at ten yards. The mounting plate is a Weigand "Weig-a-Tinny" and is flush to the topstrap. Anybody have any tips or tricks? I'm thinking maybe a shim under the mount, but there's probably something better that I haven't thought of.

I mounted a FF3 on a Ruger SR1911 & was hitting a few inches low. So I bought this shim from amazon & worked like a charm.
