I love my Gx4 TORO and HS 507K combo, but one small fly on the ointment has arisen.
Even with the W & E all the way to it's limits, I'm still hitting low and to the left, about 3" low and 2" left at 7 yards. Yes, I tried moving them throughout the 30 MOA adjustable on both, and that was the closest I got. It groups nicely, just low and left.
I was thinking of shimming the front half of the RDS. I pulled it and put the two removable pins in the back of the mount area back in and remounted the sight, but that made the POI drop 6 more inches. So for now, I have the cover plate back on. I've heard there are plates made that just add height, and a friend is checking to see if any he has will work, but I thought I'd run it by the THR Think Tank first.
