I would like to take 9/11 BACK from the U.S. propaganda machine and make it a day for the militias to meet, or at least a day for americans to arm themselves with modern firearms and extra ammo.

I'm sort of doing that. My Richard's riflestock(Not microfit)comes in on Monday for my custom Tac .20.
I get part of a gun for 9/11
heh

If the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor was called 12-7 instead, everyone would remember except the dumbest of the dumb.

Quick what's the number to dial 911?

Sounds like as good of a day as any to increase my collection. Count me in.

Silly Sigfan, EVERYONE knows it was the Germans that attacked Pearl Harbor. Don't bother trying to stop me....I'm on a roll. :D

Gonna be hard. Only thing on my list is a S&W 29, preferably 29-2. Only thing around here that I could find was a 29-10. Maybe I might go for one of the P-38s or a CZ-75 in one of the local shops.

My gun buy for 9/11 will be a couple of days late; the Kimber Stainless Target II in 10mm will be in sometime next week. I may be able to make it to the range, though, if I take care of my prior obligations for the day soon enough.

While not directly related to the 9/11 anniversary, the increasing mess from the jihad nutcases has made me think having something a little more effective than a .30-30 around again is a good idea. (Yeah, not the most logical thing I know, but it makes me feel better.)

.. so I just ordered the parts to finish out the lower for an AR. It'll be a while till she's all ready to go, but at least I'll be part way there.

Oh -- and one of these for Pirate Day. :D

Careful, Kaylee!

As a dedicated black powder shooter, I have to warn you that they are addictive. Don't ask me how I know. And don't tell my wife about my latest order from DGW.

I'm going to do something even more radical, exercise the rights of freedom of speech, religion, association and the press.

I'm picking up my Ishy on the 15th, close enough.

And Kaylee, on your pirate day purchase I have only one thing to say. ARRRR, Genius!

I typically use 9/11 as a day for quiet reflection and and respect for the victims of the terrorists.
9/12 is my pissed off day

9-11 gun day just has the feel of a Veterans Day White Sale to me

Oh -- and one of these for Pirate Day.
Thanks for the reminder, Kaylee. I had completely forgotten.

Yarr!

As for buying a gun on Monday... Maybe I'll just go to the gun shop and ogle. I don't have a dime to my name.

I am looking more around Dec. for my next purchase but yes I agree, buy a gun for 9/11, 10/11, 11/11, and every 11.

As long as it remains a multi billion dollar industry the antis can't seriously touch it.

I'm waiting for delivery of a 1964 vintage straight-stocked Marlin 336 RC. Probably won't arrive on 9/11, but should be here later in the week. ;)

Oh joy. Let's support the commericalization of a tragic day in American History! Don't forget your t-shirts, bumber stickers, and the all important 9-11 Victims Party after work!!

(I'm not sure if I'm joking, being sarcastic, offended, or just grumpy...)

I still have to drive through America's hat (sorry, Canada, but your gun laws give me reason to harass you:evil: ) on the 18th from AK to OR, so I'll buy my 9-11 tribute when I get back to good old wonderful gun law Oregon...
Now as to what I need (want?), thats up for debate...
