Cabelas has .308 ammo

I just ordered some .308 ammo for this upcoming hunting season. I got the 165 gr barnes TSX after some recommendations on here. I got the ammo off of their website. Should be delivered to the store w/in two weeks...just in case anyone else is looking for .308

The post is a bit misleading. First, these are "bullets," not "ammo." Second, they are not in stock, merely "backordable." I presume you reload. I hope you get it in time.

lots of difference between bulletts and ammo. without cases, powder primers etc. bullets alone dont do you much good.

Uhhhh...not sure where you two were looking. I hope their website is not misleading, but if I get a box of just bullets without all the rest that goes with it, I am going to be a little upset. And it still says that it is in stock when I look at it.

I have been paying 34 to 38 for the last several years for what I bought.

165's or 168's match type. Not the cheap stuff.

Okay, my mistake. The "ammo" is "Federal Vital-Shock." That's the "brand," not Barnes, which is the bullet. The Barnes bullets are sold separately, for reloaders.
