given i wasn't there...even by her accounts of the incident...the details of the events are few and fuzzy to her...i recoginze however, that most punks will not fire a weapon...it's utilized as a fear/ intimidator accessory...especially if they have a previous criminal record...the punishment in court will be more severe if a deadly weapon was used to commit a crime..they know that, they are not stupid...with that in mind, there was no way for her to make out the weapon, it could have been a life-like replica, maybe not...either way, at the distances involved i am confident of my abilities to be lethal to a perp/s...that is unless the punks were also trained/shooters which would be a random occurance as to be unbelievable...but who knows...i'm just glad it wasn't me.

Best suggestion: If the car is driveable, go to a public place to exchange information. If not, then keep the doors locked, only crack the windows to slip info through, and until the situation is assessed as safe, keep the cell phone in hand with 911 dialed and your finger on the SEND button in case things go awry.

Just my $.02. Pretty much what everyone else so far as said though.

Oh yeah, and if you can access the gun while inside the car, I'd have it hidden but readied in case it becomes a life-or-death struggle. For me, I have my CHL and keep mine on my hip (accessible even while driving).

If I was allready out of the car and my gun was still in it, then as the BG w/ gun was entering my car, I would run toward the driver of the BG vehicle. Holding my SOG pentagon elite in one hand, I would use it to break the driver's side window. That should stun the driver long enough for me to get the door open. If its looked, I should be able to reach the BG's neck. If the BG w/ gun has driven away in my vehicle I would hold the driver at knife-point until the police arrive. If the BG gets out of my car to help the driver, then I will demand that he drop the gun or his friend dies. A risky situation but not un-winable.

PS. I allways have at least a knife on my person at all times and have had training in its use.

It's refusing to be a victim, not allways the best course of action. However, too many sheeple in this contry are so scared to death of confrontation that they would rather be victims. The situation I described in my previous post is an extreme example (one I would have long odds of surviving), but if more people in America were of the mindset to confront BG's, then I feel that violent crime and robbery would drop substantially.

BTW. I see upscale, affluent women driving Escalades all the time along with H2's, Suburbans, Lexus SUV's, BMW M5's, etc.

Wasn't talking about those particular demographic parameters. Let me try again: I am of western European ancestry. And I'm speaking just of Escalades, not H2's and the others.
