I'm looking for a case for this Browning Semi-Auto 22 I picked up.

I see there's a "Traditional" fitted case made by Browning but at 9.2 lbs, but 34x11.5x4.5 is kind of big and weighing in at almost 10 lbs a little heavy. Also for $189 a big more than I want to pay.

I've seen pictures of a "Frisco" case also made by Browning but it appears to have been discontinued and I don't see any old stock available on eBay.

I want something to keep it reasonably well protected but not too expensive. This isn't a museum piece, it's a plinker. Any suggestions?

Look at the “Boyt Canvas takedown case”

If you get one please let me know which one you get and how it fits.

There were some custom ones made for Ruger you can find in EBay too but I think they might bee too short. I believe our SA-22s have 21 or 22” barrels.

I looked into them a few years back but they were either too long or too short. I want one that fits perfectly or at least near perfect.

Thanks, Dan
