I bought a borescope years ago in my mechanic days. Great for looking at cylinder bores and two-stroke ports without taking apart an engine. May have to pick up another one someday.
Here are a couple borescope pics of my chamber. You can clearly see what's causing the rings on the fired brass.
When I use the scope inside the brass, I do not see any markings. They seem to have been scared on the outside only. But I've only looked at three pieces so far.
Is this rifle good to go? Or should I take it to a gunsmith or contact Ruger? While I love firearms, I am not even close to an expert and don't know what my next steps are. Any help is greatly appreciated.
