When reloading 308 norma rounds once fired I need to fl resize to be able to chamber the round. But as you can see in the pic below the case mouth deforms half of the time and looks wavy or wrinkles in the brass and I was wondering if this is normal or ok to shoot. The brass is old like probably 70s or 80's but take a good amount of force to get it back to original specs.

It looks like you're using too much lube. Try using a little less. Also, clean the sizing die and make sure the vent hole on the die isn't blocked. As long as the dents don't have any sharp creases they can be loaded and fired.

Agree, looks like lube dents, use less lube and you need very, very, little, if any, on the shoulder.

I don't see any deformation of the case mouth. . . the case shoulder, on the other hand, shows lube dents from excess lube.

They won't harm anything, but lighten up on the lube and they'll disappear. You don't need to lube they shoulder at all, just the neck (in and out) and they body.
