Ok, I walk into shop XYZ which has offending sign posted. I toss
$5,000 in cash on the counter and say "I'll spend that $5,000 if I'm
allowed to carry my concealed firearm while I'm here." Will I be asked
to leave the premises because I'm carrying?

We have a 3' x 3' sign on our front door that states: We encourage the legal carry of firearms in this establishment, both open and concealed.

I don't understand how gun shops can be anti-gun, but many in this town don't allow customers to carry. Now......that being said.....if a customer pulls a gun out of their holster for any reason, we may have some problems. I'd say only 1 out of 1000 have brought a loaded gun in for trade or consignment, it 2 out of the 3 times its happened it was elderly woman who brought the gun in a case and never handled it, just turned the case over to us for inspection stating that they had no idea if they were loaded or not.

in texas if they dont have a 51% sign or a 30-06 sign posted correctly then i'm carrying concealed in.

there are several malls in houston who have 30-06 signs but they arent posted even remotely correctly hence nulls and voids them. ghostbuster signs dont mean diddly. i'm looking at you buffalo wild wings...

When I hear stories such as this it just makes me feel that much more blessed to live where we can carry nearly any where, with or without a CC permit, open or CC, into banks, and yes, Walmart. We do have a few establishments with signs posted, but haven't come across a gun shop with such a policy.
Establishments with a "NO WEAPON'S" sign earn a place on a web site exploiting their decision to ban them. This has been some what effective in reversing some of those establishments policy on weapons. Most business establishments in this state will not risk losing potential customer's that carry, including banks and other financial institutions.

"When seconds count, the police are only minutes away"

Freedom served up in Arizona!

99% of those signs are intended to stop those from bringing in loaded guns to sell, not carry guns. Even with the signs, a lot of idiots still bring in loaded guns for sale.
