CCI #34 military primers for loading 308?

I find that the CCI military primers work better in European military cartridges because they lie deeper in the pocket. Regular LR primers tend to be flush or a little over the top because they're too thick.

All I know about CCI #34 is they work in my YUGO SKS allot cheaper per K than regular LR primers and the added insurance agents slam fires is a plus,my Lee Hand Primer seat them pretty deep and consistent in the Winchester case.

I assume that Federal brass takes large rifle primers? and can also use #34 primers? These will be shot from an AK-47 or an SKS.

All 7.62x39 require a Lg Rifle Primer.

HM the Remington 7.62 x 39mm case takes the small rifle primer. I shoot both in my YUGO SKS.

The 3 reloading manuals I have all state a Lg Rifle Primer.

Hornady 7th Ed (Recommends Fed 210 which is a Lg Rifle Primer)

Res45, what reload info are you using ? Where are you finding x39 brass that will fit a Sm Rifle Primer?

From the Lyman #48 Manual and the Remington 7.62 x 39mm cases that I reloaded last week. Why Remington use SR and Winchester uses LR I have no clue they both shoot pretty much the same accuracy wise for me.
