Yes I am that tall and skinny
Being the body type that I am makes anything with a halfway long grip impossible IWB to hide whenever I crouch or bend (which is a lot, I work in a parts department at a large car dealership grabbing things off of shelves all day.)
Yesterday I saw a Springfield XD40 subcompact and I really liked it, specifically because of the short grip which can be extended with an included longer magazine if I wanted to play with it at the range.
I feel like I could hide this decent enough but I'm not positive.
I already have a full size Ruger SR9, and Springfield 1911 with a few thousand rounds down them so I'm no stranger to handguns. I just want something I can carry with me especially on motorcycle trips so I don't have to keep it in a saddlebag (locked of course) or in my riding jacket.
Caliber is not a huge concern I was just thinking 40 because that's what the local police use and they practice at the same range I do and I have a lot of their brass picked up and with a set of dies I could start reloading that with my other calibers.
So is the XD40 sc a good choice? Also open to other suggestions...
