CDNN has a "Remington 870 BRIGHT Green SpeedFeed IV Stock" set advertised in their latest catalogue for $39something.

Does anyone know how "BRIGHT" green it is? Have any pics?

It's probably neon green.

It normally indicates that a gun is used for less lethal or tear gas ammo (I forget which).

Illegal to install on a gun used for regular ammo, or at all, in some jurisdictions.

It's VERY green. Think international orange, only green. It's intended to designate shotguns for less than lethal ammunition exclusively, and that sort of thing. Far as I know CDNN is the only place offering them, they aren't even on Speedfeed's website.

There are blue ones and red ones too (to designate training guns as far as I know), as well as the international orange sets that ARE pictured at Speedfeed's homepage ( http://www.speedfeedinc.com/index.asp ).

If you get a set and put them on your 870, you won't have to worry about losing it...

Possibly with Rit fabric dye.
Remote control model car builders use Rit to dye nylon, and as far as I know, most synthetic shotgun stocks are nylon.
