I will tread carefully in this topic so as not to offend anyone, however, something has to be done.
Please read this post with an open mind, it is not meant to insult.
In order to change the minds of people who are on the fence, or even anti-gun, we have to overcome some major negative stereotypes. One of the most prevalent is that the average "gun nut" is an unintelligent brute. Now, we all know that this is not the case, as the majority of people who browse the high road are all very responsible individuals.
However, the spelling, grammar, and general English in the posts on THR can sometimes be absolutely awful. If we are to have a positive influence on others, we have to be well spoken, well written, and, in a word, eloquent.
