Charles Daly Hi-Power

I was wondering if anyone has handled or shot the new Hi-Power from Charles Daly? If anyone has, what's your opinion of it? How's the trigger? Are the mags interchangeable with Brownings and FN Hi-Powers?

Found one at a local shop this prior Saturday. Purchased same day. Trigger is a bit on the gritty side (not as gritty as an Arcus 94, but close) but it should smooth out after a couple of trips to the range. Feels right, and the sight is easy to acquire. List price on the Charles Daly web site is currently $549. I paid $419 plus the governor's portion. This was one of the KBI models. Have heard rumor of Dan Wesson getting into the act.

Looking at the thread on the other forum...
Wow. That cat is doing a lot. But such a think is expected from a good smith. I'm not a perfectionist. A 400 dollar HP set up the way I'd already want it... that's a very good deal.
The only things I don't like - Gritty triggers and billboard advertising on the side.

The jury is still out.
