Charter grips question

Hi guys. Does anyone know if the original (Bridgeport) .44 Charter Arms Bulldog wood grips will fit a later First Generation (Stratford) Bulldog?

I don't know for sure but the two are supposedly made to the same specifications so I don't know why they wouldn't.

Thank you very much. I saw a later Stratford Bulldog at a local shop but it had the larger grips on it. I would buy it if I could get a set of the smaller ones on it. Take care, Dave
