Just picked up a few flats of Winchester 12 ga. 2 3/4" 3 1/4 dr. eq., 1 oz. #8 and #7 1/2 for $39.90 per flat.

Yes, these are the notorious 870 jammers, but my Beretta 390s have digested several thousands of them with nary a hiccup. My Browning Cynergy doesn't much care what you put in it.

Just an FYI for you southern dwellers with an Academy near. Hard to beat the price.

Thanks, but you can keep 3-1/4 DE ammo - I prefer to load mine to 2-3/4DE levels for a nice soft-shooting experience

Your money, your time, your choice. I find these to be very pleasant to shoot in the 390 or the Browning. The Cynergy weighs just a little south of 9 pounds and fits me nicely. The gas operated 390s, also well fitted, aren't a problem either.

The time to reload is something of a problem for me, so I typically watch for sales and buy up cheap stuff whenever I can.

I bought eleven cases of this cheapie Win fodder during the same sale last year. It was likely the difference between shooting a lot during the winter months, and perhaps not being able to afford to shoot a lot. I chose to shoot a lot. :)

The hulls are terrible for trying to reload and I also prefer softer loads, but for practice fodder it really is hard to beat the price....
