Cheapest way to get felt for making wads?

As to lube or no lube by what ever means applied to the bores interior, shoot 48 rounds dry and 48 rounds with lube and check the revolvers bore after. I did just that. There is a difference in fouling and it’s subsequent removal.
My typical range visit for recreational shooting is 96 rounds or less in revolvers loading all six.

Not sure if anyone else said anything; but, make sure that your felt is all wool and preferably F1 hardness. The hobby store felt is a poly material and it burns through badly as well as leaving a plastic residue in the bore.
