Protect the city from frivolous lawsuits? Is Mr. Daley suggesting that a city is liable for gun deaths if it allows its citizens to own guns? Hot Dog! Lawsuit time! The city still allows cars, knives, chainsaws, and thousands of other dangerous instuments. I smell a class-action lawsuit on behalf of people killed by all of those things that Chicago still allows. The Mayor has already admitted his liability, too!
