Chrome lining that looks dull/grey?

Good evening,
I'm new here and had a question about a new barrel I recently got. It's a Centurion CHF 14.5" barrel. I'm used to chrome lining that appears shiny and bright upon appearance but just curious if CL can come in different flavors. It's advertised as double thickness chrome but it just seems odd to me, especially the muzzle end. I've included some pics. Please tell me your thoughts or if it looks normal. Thank you in advance.

That's interesting, none of my FN .224 bore chrome barrels are shiny. Surface finish is controlled during electroplating, so I guess it's not too surprising you have a shiny example.

Normal, that barrel sure looks chrome lined.

Elemental chrome is grey in color. Your barrel is just fine.

As mentioned, chrome is a durability coating as well as a shiny product on your car.

So for a barrel, yes yours is normal.
