classic's CETMEs

anyone know whether the Spanish CETME's sold by Classic Arms are C&R eligible. does anone have any thoughts, good or bad,about this rifle?

Pretty sure they're not.

In general, I'd say the Classic Arms rifles look ok. They're tarted up with surplus green plastic G3 furniture, but at least they still have the flash hiders. The bit of ad copy where they tell us that a CETME is very similar to a PSG-1 is arguably not a fib...

These are not original Cetmes.

They are new rifles built from cut up military parts by Century Arms.
