I've recently started clay shooting. I've always wanted to try it, and this past winter i bought a Remington 1100 and recently tried it a couple of times. It is awesome. My only regret is that I didn't try it sooner! My only problem is finding the time to get to the range.

It is an incredibly fun activity. For those of you who haven't tried it, please do. It's highly enjoyable and I think it really helps develop some practical shooting skills as well.

By the way, the 1100 is a great shotgun - comfortable to shoot and really versatile.

Glad you like it, Irv. A couple things....

ALL the clay games are good. Try a little of each.

Read the 101 threads on fit and patterning. Get that thing shooting where you look, it's lots easier and even more fun then.

BA/UU/R.

After a few(10-20K) rounds, replace the O rings and springs. Repeat every so often.

Enjoy....
