BTW, the finish isn't blued, its Parkerized. I don't think there is any kind of Parkerizing touch up you can do. There are places that'll repark it for you. Not sure on the costs involved with that, but it sure do make the rifle look nice.
BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN SANDING THE STOCK, if you even have to sand it at all. I'd use mineral spirits and #0000 steel wool. Use the steam method to raise as many of the dents and dings as you can. If you absolutely have to sand it, nothing coarser than #220, and don't sand around any of the cartouches. There's aprobably a P on the bottom of the pistol grip, a Defense Eagle on the right side and possibly the last 4 digits of the SN stamped back near the butt.
