I am also a Suppressive Person (SP) which makes anyone around me a Potential Trouble Source (PTS).

You're not kidding about the addiction. I'm at 20 tax stamps and 16 are cans lolol!
How does one get to 16 cans?

I have a .22 can, a .45 can I use for 9mm, .40, and 10mm too, a 7.62 can I use for 6.5 (and temporarily 5.56).

I plan to get a QD 5.56 can in the not too far future. I see the eventual need for a shorter 9mm can, a .45 rifle can (SOCOM and possibly .45/70), and probably a big gun can in the Lapua to BMG class.

That gets me to 6 tops.

Are you just collecting? I understand. I probably have more guns I've never shot than I can count on one hand, so I'm just wondering.

Now THAT'S an addiction. :D I could see having that many cans if I wanted dedicated cans on all the firearms I want to suppress. I currently have four with three more ordered and they'll easily cover my needs particularly since I can only shoot one firearm at a time. The appeal of dedicated suppressors is that they allow friends to shoot alongside me with suppressed firearms. I'll probably buy more once I get my SOT.

I only have two and it's probably going to stay that way for a while :(.

But one's an Octane 9, which will suppress 300 BO subs and any pistol caliber from .357 on down, and the other is an SDN-6 that will suppress anything from a long-barreled 300 Win Mag on down. So I've got most of my bases covered until I can eventually afford more cans.

For things that take a long time (buying an NFA weapon, loosing weight) the best way to look at is is that the time is still going to pass whether you do it or not.

I'm an American, what can I say?

When I spend money I demand instant materialistic gratification!

I've two 9mm, two .45, two .22lr, one 5.56, and one 7.62. Don't see anymore in my future. I occasionally use the .45 on a .40 and used it on the 9mm as well until I got the second 9mm can. My purchasing order was: .45ACP, 7.62, .22lr & 9mm (same time purchase and paperwork at the dealer), another .22lr, 5.56, another 9mm, and the final .45. For the first four it was long enough ago that the wait was only about 4-5 months with paper forms.

My wife is also on the Trust and we shoot pistols together quite often so as soon as she tried shooting suppressed, she was totally on board with have pairs so we could shoot side by side.

I'm not all that fond of suppressed rifles since the supersonic crack is still pretty objectionable without earpro, although I love the 7.62 can on my 7.62x39 SBR and the 5.56 can on my Tavor.

I perhaps have an excessive number of SBR stamps (14) and a single full auto, but I like shooting the .22lr and 9mm SBRs more than anything.

My purchase order was 7.62 (over the phone), .45 3 days later (when I went in to pay for the 7.62), .22 but the 7.62 Form 3 took so long it was the last by far and the .22 was in stock so I took possession of it first!

I own a couple suppressors so I'm not afraid of NFA items, it just grinds on me to fork over $1200 and then wait for an indeterminate period of time before I get to enjoy it. At my age I could die between the time I write the check and get to use the item.

Then there's the issue of obsolescence; seems there's new suppressor technology arriving almost daily, by the time I get mine its so yesterday.

I'm very happy I did endure the wait and expense on the 22 and 30 cal cans I have now, I'd love to add a 45 cal to the herd but I'm plain burned out waiting so long.
