Note; I'm not in Colorado, never have BEEN to Colorado, but know many of you are. I saw this pop up on my news feed today and thought I'd share:

http://gunssavelives.net/blog/break...n-to-break-new-magazine-law-on-capitol-steps/

At least two formal events have popped up on Facebook that are encouraging Colorado gun owners to engage in civil disobedience and break the recent law that prohibits the sale or transfer of gun magazines capable of holding more than 15 rounds.

The events encourage participants from Colorado and other surrounding states to buy, sell and swap magazines that can hold more than 15 rounds in disobedience of the law.

The first event is scheduled for July 1st and is actually supposed to be on the Colorado Capitol building’s steps in Denver.

Apparently the event is being organized on facebook, at this link:

not sure about the wisdom of this one. Denver has their own older ban.

I'm just passing the news along, not passing judgment. :)

Getting together en-masse to violate a law, even if it's a misdemeanor... yeah.

Anyway, it is what it is.

I'm glad they're being active and fighting for their Rights. I wish them the best of luck.

Actually it is not as bad as I first thought. I thought there was a specific penalty clause about losing 2A rights for a year but that was in the universal BG check. It is just a class 2 misdemeanor which I don't know the possible penalties for.

(plus whatever the Denver penalties are)
