This Colt 2nd Gen 1851 Conversion revolver is supposed to fire .38 special. The cartridge cylinder does not look like a Kirst style. There is only this picture and I'm just curious if anyone is familiar with this set-up. Haven't seen an interchangeable cylinder like this one.
If it came with the percussion cylinder the barrel isn't lined. If it came with a .357 bore and somebody added the percussion cylinder to the "set" it's an accident waiting to happen.
Didn't think it was a Kirst. Looks like a Uberti. Seller only said it comes with two cylinders, .36 cal percussion and .38 special. Nothing about the barrel.
