6 Heritage vs 1 Colt


I'll take the Colt, every day. 1 good shooter vs 6 paperweights, no contest.

nothing agains Heritage, but having a Colt a real Colt!!! what dreams are made of!! and I now will have 2 of them

For $650 you could easily have 3 Ruger Wranglers or 6 Heritage Rough Riders.

It will be a cold day in Hades before I buy a Heritage or a Ruger Wrangler. One Ruger Single Six is plenty.

I don't load .45 Colt but most of my dies are Lee. They're good.

I have a set of .454 casell dies. Bet it will work for Colt 45

Used to be the seat and crimp die was caliber specific and you wouldn't be able to crimp the shorter case, I don't think that's as prevalent any more. But like you said one way to find out. Worst case scenario you could just buy a crimp die for 45 Colt.

Unless you plan on shooting heavy loads, no need to crimp.

Jacketed hunting bullets are the only ones I crimp.

Your Casull dies should work fine. .44 Mag and Spl is 1 die. .357 Mag and .38 Spl is 1 die.
