Colt New Frontier .357 7.5 Nickel (I put in an offer)

See if he bites. They had one of those blue at the show last weekend, he had 1200 on it, no box or papers. Same guy had an exceptional 80s Python with box, papers, and letter.....didn't even wanna ask what he had on that, which I'm sure was close to the number for a new Freedom Arms.
I have a chance at a Trooper Mark III, 8", 22WMR, blue, for 1100, but I'm gonna pass. Seems like the sky's the limit on these old Colts, even more so with all the goodies. This one has none of the stuff.
Good luck on that Champion, that would make a lovely addition to a collection
Lots of good safe queens coming out for sale. I think we will see a bunch more of these situations

Hopefully guy will take the very fair offer of $1700. If not, something cool will show up soon enough

-$1700 is very fair and I’d likely offer the same. I’d love to have that one and I hope you get it! I don’t have one but reportedly they’re great shooters!
that old colonel is hard to negotiate with, but his collection is amazing. it’s been sitting there since November, if I don’t get it, I won’t be heart broken.

$2000 is fair for that gun, I am surprised it has been there as long as it has. $1700 would be a steal, I hope you get it.
the consignment person changed their price on the Colt. In November, he was asking $2,000. And my friend actually did the paper work for a $1800 offer, but he backed out due to finances. Anyways, now he wants $2200! 😂 and was willing to do $2100… NOPE! it can sit there for another 5 months

I'm old enough to remember when those were new enough to be getting some time in Gunzines, and the writers all loved the adjustable sights.
The .357 will be more muzzle heavy than the .45 iteration.
It is a pretty gun; Colt does spectacular bright stainless and nickel.

would you pay $2100… I wouldn’t, just wondering

I've a hankering for a real Colt, and may jump on one sometime. If this were in .45 Colt, and in that condition, I'd consider it.
Mark, I wasn't dissing the gun in my previous post; the adjustable sights were a big deal, back in the day.

Agree. A Colt should be in .45 Colt. I didn’t take any dissing from your post! Not even my gun 😂

There's a nickel NF on gunbroker with little more than a day to go, current bid over $2000.00, that I've been watching. I'm curious what the final price will be.
