Colt Threaded Barrel inter-changeability

I want a threaded barrel for my Colt (s). But which Colt? I shoot my series 90 Double Eagle in competition. But sometimes use my series 80 Gold Cup and on occasion my series 70 Combat Commander.

I really want to make sure I can swap the barrel between the Double Eagle and the Gold Cup

If I go for the full size barrel will it function in all of the above? Sure it will stick out way past the slide on the Combat Commander. But the chicks will dig it!

The barrel hood on a Gold Cup is narrower than on a standard Government Model, the same as was used on the "Enhanced" series. I don't know which a Double Eagle has, but you should be able to tell by looking.

Some Government barrels will work in a Commander, but a truly standard one will not, at least not without battering it up; the link lug is different.
