Several years ago I shot my Prochrono that shattered one of the black sensor cases and maimed the other. But the electronics were unscathed. After that, I bought a Chrony brand off a member here.
Recently I seen that the Prochrono Digital was discontinued. Thinking that they may soon not have parts, I reached out to Competition Electronics. A lady whose email goes by cbailey, responded with what I may need and how to contact her. I called a few days later, and ordered 2 black sensor cases and a new unit housing. It all came to $24 with shipping.
A quick test shows everything is working properly. She did mention that if I couldn't get it to work, I could send the whole unit in for them for repair or replacement.
I was fortunate that I shot the top right corner of the front. And that it only chipped the plate that the electronics mount to.
I have since added new Hi-Viz sights to the guilty gun, that allows adjustment for elevation. It was shooting very low and right. Bad on my part for not ensuring it's accuracy.
