The West Virginia legislature is finally addressing whether concealed handgun licensees' information should remain public or be made private, via House Bill 4026. This bill prohibits disclosure of names, addresses and other personally-identifying information of persons licensed to carry concealed handguns.

A poll was started today on The Intermountain site, a daily newspaper circulated throughout north-central WV.

It could use some help!

"Do you think the identity of people with a permit to carry a concealed weapon should remain on public record?"
yes 64%
no 36%

This is a bill that is up for vote and the politicos may be reading this poll. Any help we can offer should be given. Lets hit this poll and put it in our favor!!!

Yes 14%

No 86%

We kick @$$

it's a no brainner. Why in the good lords name would I want that to be public. DUH!!! I purchased that license so people wouldn't know I was packing. For my saftey and there's

Who ever made it a public notice thing a law was a ::cuss:: idiot and probably an anti as well. When will those people learn that our right to bare arms is there to protect us not convict us. Not only that but that same law is what made our country the strong one it is today.

If back in the 1600-1800 we didn't have that law the British would have kicked our @$$ and I would still be having tea and crumpettes (which actually taste good BTW) and following a dictatorship that pretends to be a dimocracy.

Sorry but that realy streams my undercarage.

I voted
13% yes
87% no

I agree this is stupid. That is the point of CONCEALED CARRY, we dont want people to know we have it. Completely agree that would open up our homes and collections to the eyes of criminals. But at least we are kicken bum on the poll. Just gotta keep it up.
