It’s trendy, I am more of a “go” guy than “show” myself but you might find this an interesting read. It’s not really “new” though and one could argue the exciting part too.

Some of the local guys are using the Baker Forged billets, looks really striking. We RC'd several and the core came in at RC60 points, seemed to cut well. As a reactive metal this would bring some hesitancy for me.
